EVALUATION AND ASSESSMENT

1. Evaluation and assessment of students is conducted on the basis of continual assessment and also written test or examinations during the course.
2. Students are required to submit written work during the course, either individually or working in groups.
3. The students attending the long courses are required to submit written work papers during the course, either individually or working in groups, as following:

   - BSOC Students - a Military Study Paper (2000-3000 words).

   - AJOSOC and ESPIC Students- a Research Paper (4000-5000words).

4. All students receive a mid course evaluation interview and a full written report, with grade in individual subject areas, on completion of the course.
5. At the end of the courses, all students are given Course certificates.
6. The long courses are considered career courses for Romanian officers. In this respect, the course certificates allow to:

   - BSOC graduates to be promoted from captains to majors.

   - AJOSOC graduates to be promoted from majors to colonels.

7. The AJOSOC course is also considered a post-graduated and leadership course for Romanian officers.
